When I was a single mom trying to earn a few extra dollars I (with the help of my parents and their friends) began forming my own business. It started out as a simple set up in the basement of our house with audio equipment. I edited audio recordings for local pastors, such as: Craig Hill of Family Foundations International and Jeff Brodsky of Joy International. It then grew into recording speakers, such as Dr. Cheryl Townsley with LifeStyle for Health, and others who wanted to get message of health out to people. It was then that I realized I needed a name for my business and after much pondering, I came up with DeShane Industries to honor my great grandfather.

DeShane Industries has been a vehicle for me to do many things including Audio/Video, Desktop Publishing, web design and all other kinds of "Freelance" work. Now, DeShane Industries is much more, being an avenue of sharing the message of Health, Time and Financial Freedom.

On August 23, 1997, I married my best friend, a wonderful man named David Young. From that point until now we have worked as a team to make DeShane Industries blossom and become much more than what it started out to be. Now, we have 4 wonderful girls, and are that much more blessed.
